THE HOUSE OF ENGLISH
“The House of English” club appreciates and celebrates the richness of arts and literature in the college. The club is dedicated to explore and enrich the literary and artistic character of students through various activities and competitions. It leads us to acknowledge our love for English and the entire artistic community it encompasses, by celebrating events and days of social and literary importance.
Activities of the Club 2025- 2026
Logo Design Competition
A logo design competition, “A Mark of One’s Own” was held as part of writer Virginia Woolf’s birthday. All the entries were remarkable. The winner of the competition is Jyolsana Joseph of first year computer science. Her design was digitalized for its official release.
Quiz Competition
A quiz competition, “The Wand Chooses the Wizard” was held as part of writer J. K. Rowling’s birthday. The contestants were divided into groups named after the different houses in the Harry Potter universe. The winner of the competition was the house of Ravenclaw.
